Congratulations to Capital WAVE and the Mavericks!
The Capital WAVE Girls team and the Toronto Mavericks Co-Ed team came away victorious this past weekend.
WAVE managed to hold off the Ottawa Titans in a closely fought final that ended with a score of 9 to 6.
The Co-Ed game was the best 13U final that we have seen since the pandemic shutdown. The game went to a penalty shoot-out after ten goals apiece were scored by Capital WAVE and the eventual winners, The Mavericks.
Well done to all teams, all athletes, coaches and the parents and officials that make this all happen.
